My favorite part of the formula is the luminous sheen they give to the skin, so they don’t look too shimmery on the skin. The wear ranges from seven to nine hours with the brighter and more satin-to-matte shades lasting longer. They are more pigmented than what I’d term as “buildable,” which some will appreciate, some will be disappointed by. I found the formula to be incredibly easy to apply and blend on the skin without any need for special tricks they felt very grab-and-go, the kind of blush where there’s no fight to diffuse and soften edges or get even coverage. Some of the very shimmery shades feel a little dry compared to the more pearly ones. On me, the powder wore for just over eight hours before I could tell it was fading.įormula Summary | Becca Mineral Blush ($32.00 for 0.20 oz.) is supposed to be a “delicate powder blush” with a “buildable formula” that gives a “natural-looking, flushed appearance.” They typically have a soft, creamy consistency that is a little denser than the average powder but not truly dense. The finish is definitely more subdued than Becca’s more famous pressed highlighters, as a reference point. While it had a more shimmery finish than some shades in the line-up, it didn’t emphasize pores and sat naturally on the skin. The blush had good, mostly opaque color payoff with great ease, and at this point, I’m honestly surprised Becca went with a “buildable” marketing push on these when the majority of the range is rather pigmented! The texture is soft, lightly dense and almost creamy, with excellent blendability–it nearly applied itself as it was diffusing as I applied it.
